Central Piedmont Community College is using Panopto, which has a robust set of tools for steaming. They have a fairly decent captioning tool, and soon they will transform into a 100% cloud format. Also, send this link to your ITS or media service departments so they can confirm they have the infrastructure to manage this vendor. However, once Panopto goes to the cloud they will be able to serve those institutions with smaller IT infrastructures.
Here is the link:
We have been able to grow with Panopto, as a 6.5 campus community college. Tell me what you think after you review their product.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [ITACCESS] Live streaming athletics programs on the web with social and stats integrations & accessibility
I’m working with our Athletics department to assess a tool for live streaming sports programs on the web. They are looking for a tool that is very robust, and can provide analytics/statistics and opportunities for social fan engagement all in the same portal where the live stream can be viewed. We may be able to caption the live stream in real time, but as for the statistics and fan engagement features I’m not sure there is a single solution that is fully accessible.
Does anyone have a product like this that is accessible? Or just in general, if you have a product like this even if it isn’t accessible, what are you doing in regards to accommodations or working with the vendor to make the solution accessible? Any alternative solutions if not one product fits the bill? Any help or tips is greatly appreciated!
