I am a graduate student at Baylor University and am currently working on my
thesis as I pursue a Masters of Science in Information Systems.
I am posting to this list as a presenter at this year's HEUG conference in Las Vegas.
You can download my presentation at this link:
I am studying Disaster Recovery planning and Business Continuity planning.
I am particularly interested in how the events of September 11th have
affected the contingency planning being done by higher education
I have created a short, twenty question on-line survey and I would
appreciate your taking five minutes of your time to fill it out. Also,
please feel free to forward this e-mail to anyone who would be knowledgeable
about contingency planning.
You can access the survey by clicking on the link below:
One optional field gives you an opportunity to enter your e-mail address.
If you choose to give me that information, I will notify you when my thesis
is complete as well as giving you access to the results of the survey.
If you are interested in the topics of September 11th and contingency
planning, you may be interested in reviewing a paper I wrote for my
Management of Information systems class last semester. You can access that
paper by clicking on the link below:
If your organization uses PeopleSoft, you may also be interested in a website that I run in my role as a Technology Training Specialist at Baylor University. We have PeopleSoft's Financial System and you may find some training materials there that will be of use to you.
Thank you for your time and assistance with my research.
