We have Microsoft's "update protection" or whatever they call it for
another two years. I am pushing to use that time to evaluate whether any
competing product can realistically can be used in place of MS Office
during that time, so that we can either a) stop paying for MS Office or b)
continue paying for MS Office, but with a solid demonstration that none of
its competitors will fill our needs.
