I am looking for information from anyone who has outsourced their
telephone switch operations.
We are considering upgrading our currently owned Siemen's switches but
want to also look at the possibility of farming it all out. One of our
issues is replacement cost and worry about reserve funding in our
current economic situation. If the costs were such that is was truly a
recurring cost, just like a utility, then we would not have to worry
about reserve funding.
Did you conduct a study on ROI?
What were your major concerns?
Has it been successful?
What vendors are you using?
