Hi, my first request for information to your list. Our Library is
participating in the LibQual+ quality survey this year for the first time.
They have completed the survey period and sent the results off for analysis.
This should give them some useful benchmarks on how their service is viewed
by their own customers, against their US and (some) UK peers.
I would like to know if there is an equivalent methodology or service for
evaluating the quality of our computing and management information services.
They tend to be universally denigrated (everyone thinks they could do it
better, or knows someone who had a bad experience with a technician who
couldn't fix a PC, etc); while they do a magnificent job in keeping techie
things (networks, servers, email etc) going smoothly, there are certainly
areas for improvement in customer care, but it's difficult to identify the
