Please respond to
The EDUCAUSE CIO
Shenandoah University will require Virus protection in the Fall BEFORE
any student will be able to attach to our network. Currently we
recommend and strongly advise that they do have Virus Protection and we
provide it for free to the students.
We have a campus wide agreement with McAfee for Faculty, Staff, and
Student computers for SU and home use. This is provided at our expense.
We have several copies of McAfee in the library for students to check
out or they can bring their computer to us down here for installation,
virus removal etc.
We support Windows 95, 98, and ME with McAfee 4.5.1 and Windows 2000 and
XP with McAfee V7 enterprise.
Software updates are provided by McAfee to us and our server distributes
the updates as new DAT's are available.
Hope that this helps,
Helpdesk Support Coordinator
