Do you know what issues are driving the request? I'm unclear about the
value of such statements (my off-the-cuff opinion is, not much, given that
the recipient has no chance to agree to the terms prior to reading the
communication), but I'd be really reluctant to start doing something like
that unless we'd gotten some legal advice about it first.
A really big concern I would have is that it might INCREASE people's
comfort level with sending confidential information through email, and
that's not something I'd want to do.
