I've gotten a number of contracts lately that disturb me. One from a
networking hardware manufacturer and services provider and one from an
The former is a scope of work with a paragraph stating that we owe for
the services, even if they don't result in a configuration meeting the
SoW. The latter is a 3-year agreement, such that we owe the full amount
no matter what the antivirus vendor does for or to us over the period
(including ceasing to produce virus updates.) I'm appalled to be doing
business with companies like this, but perhaps I'm over-reacting.
Please let me know what you have been seeing and also ding about it.
