I find simple questions are frequently revealing:
What technological directions in higher education
causes you the most concern?

Subject: [CIO] Interview Question
Here's a (not so) hypothetical question.
If you were interviewing candidates for the position of Chief Academic
Officer at your institution and you had only one question you could ask,
what would it be?
I would like to use something better than the generic, "What do you see as
the role of technology in higher education for the future?" Do you have any
suggestions for a better question that would reveal in its answer a person's
depth of understanding of critical issues?
