We just started using MDID as an image management system (it is still
too early to tell you how we like it). I was very surprised when we
downloaded it. The application is programmed in ASP.NET.

Subject: [CIO] Photo Management System
We're getting more and more requests for faculty for a photo management
system that will accept, catalogue (using metadata), archive, and
provide access to digital photos so faculty can use access them on-line
with a laptop in the classroom then use them in lectures. Sort of a
scaled down data assets management system. Does anyone know of any open
source system that would handle this? Thanks. Dick K.
