I fought with this project for years before we found a solution. We had two
really good proposals and ended up going with a digital signage solution
that uses Scala for content distribution and it has been fairly easy for our
users to adopt. We deployed (9) 21" LCD's and (4) 42" Plasmas in a
Residence Hall and Cafeteria and looking to do all residence halls in the
near future. The distribution system uses the Bluefire player which can be
a separate device or a pluggable module for the Panasonic plasmas.

of a PC via our current system to TV's or devices that can
We have looked into Kiosk's as well, but are hoping for something a
little more vibrant and bigger in size that could hopefully attract some
