Williams signed a contract with Connect-ED about 3 weeks ago. There were a
couple of pricing models. They are moving into the higher ed market and
have mainly done K-12 until now. We still need to figure out all the
groups and which phone numbers to use when, but we were very impressed by
the flexibility and how we can configure it easily. Although they host the
data, it will be batch fed from our PeopleSoft system and we can update it
as often as we want to. We've tested that part and it loads very quickly.
We like the idea that we maintain the data in our central system. Another
product we looked at required separate maintenance on their system, which we
felt would end up with inaccurate and out dated data pretty quickly.

Thanks for the info. I went to the web site for Connect-ED, manufactured by
NTI, but I couldnąt determine how they determined the annual cost.
The site did mention a fixed annual cost based on the number of students.
Could you tell me what is this cost? Also, can you provide a reference for
SAF-T-Alert and indicate how you use this in conjunction with Connect-ED?
