We've been running SharePoint (WSS 2.0, 3.0 and MOSS 2007) for over
three years now. We've deployed it as an elearning platform with many
custom web parts and it's currently supporting 30,000 students. We've
also used it as an employee portal for our entire organization as well
as other small groups around our district. Later this fall we're
deploying it's CMS feature to handle our primary public web site.
As you might guess, it's worked out very well for us. I'd be happy to
talk more if you like - feel free to email me!

Subject: [CIO] Microsoft Sharepoint implementations?
Lehigh University is currently piloting Microsoft Sharepoint as a group
collaboration tool. We would be interesting in speaking with any other
schools that have implemented Sharepoint (and would appreciate learning
from your tales of woe or wonder!)
Many thanks - Sherri
