Syracuse University is in the midst of an effort to identify ways to
integrate and/or consolidate the registrar, financial aid and bursar
operations of our continuing education and main campus organizations.
The group I supervise, the process improvement & portfolio/project
management part of our central IT organization was asked and has been
facilitating the effort.
We are attempting first to define a student service delivery model in
- a description of services to be provided
- key service delivery attributes/characteristics
- the organization structure to support the model
- identification of service delivery locations (i.e. physical as well as
