Tim,

Are you familiar with InCommon (incommon.org)?  Unlimited Comodo certs. 
  Not sure where Beloit would fall on the pricing spectrum 
(http://www.incommon.org/cert/cert_fee.html), but I'm sure it'd be 
relatively easy to find out, and it's probably cheaper than whatever 
Comodo quoted you directly.
