Would anyone be willing to share what position/department oversees and managing cyber crime/bullying investigations? We do not have a dedicated IT security position and have been successful in the past managing security as a IT group, both in assisting our Public Safety police officers in investigations as well as in managing our security training and infrastructure.
We are starting to notice an uptick in the the amount of time and need to investigate cyber crime and bullying. Threats and bullying using the Yikyak app have been the latest issues. This is an anonymous service and accessible from mobile phones/cellular plans.
From your experience, who or what department should be trying to contact Yikyak to request their assistance in identifying where the comments are coming from?
I appreciate any guidance you are willing to provide.
